Description:
This is the P.O.S.T. Approved Emergency Vehicle Operations INSTRUCTOR COURSE for Officers interested in obtaining an EVOC INSTRUCTOR ENDORSEMENT. Upon completion of this course attendees should have the skills necessary to instruct others in the use and operation of emergency vehicles. Applicants wishing to attend the EVOC Instructor course must test in with a minimum score of 80% on the written Basic EVOC Test and a passing grade on the the Driving course. The test-in will be administered on the first day of the course.
Students unable to pass these entry tests will be dismissed from the class and their agencies will be assessed a testing fee in lieu of the course tuition.
To register, officers must have at least 3 years of LE experience, and completed Instructor Development.
POST will no longer provide printed class materials. Please print or download the materials to be used on your laptop or tablet during the course.
