Description:
Crisis Intervention 40-Hour Training (CIT 40) is an entry-level course designed to train and equip law enforcement officers with the ability to recognize and respond to calls for service involving someone in a mental health crisis.
In this course, participants will learn the three foundational blocks of CIT 40:
- Knowledge
- Experiencing, Sensitizing and Building Empathy
Experiential and Practical Application
