Description:
The vascular neck restraint (VNR) Instructor course teaches participants how to safely and effectively apply a controlled, blood-flow–based restraining technique to subdue resistant
subjects with minimal injury. The course emphasizes anatomy, proper placement, recognition of warning signs, legal considerations, and strict safety protocols.
Through step-by-step instruction, scenario drills, and supervised practice, students learn when VNR is appropriate, how to apply and release it safely, and how to monitor subjects afterward.
The training prioritizes control, professionalism, and reducing harm while ensuring officers understand policy, risk factors, and accountability.
