Description:

This training provides an look at missing persons cases in Idaho, exploring the classifications used when individuals are entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC). Participants will gain a clear understanding of the federal and local laws that govern missing person entries, as well as the resources and tools available to aid in searches.

The course also covers the various alert systems used in Idaho, including AMBER Alerts, Endangered Missing Person Alerts, and Blue Alerts. Scenarios will be used to help participants apply what they’ve learned and better understand the activation and response processes involved.
