R1 127C – Urban Rifle (end-user) Course – Athol

Description:
This is a POST provided in-service training for certified officers. This Urban Rifle Course consists of 24 hours of hands-on, performance based rifle training. Students will learn how to properly manipulate and deploy a rifle within an urban environment. The purpose of this course is to expose the student to the capabilities and limitations of the law enforcement patrol rifle.
Participants will be required to provide the following:
- Duty rifle with sling and at least two magazines
- Weapon mounted light and/or handheld flashlight
- 1000 rounds of rifle training ammunition
- 5 rounds of duty rifle ammo
- Handgun and complete duty belt
- Ear/eye pro
- Elbow & knee pads
- Ball cap
- Range suitable clothing, water

R2 127 – Low-Light Firearms Training Course – Kuna

Description:
This is a POST provided in-service training for certified law enforcement officers; this training is designed for the end-user. Shooting in low-light has long been a required and very necessary skill for law enforcement officers. The purpose of this course is to expose the student to a variety of low-light shooting skills for both the handgun and patrol rifle. The Low-Light Firearms Course will consist of 16 hours of hands on performance based training. The 2-day course will provide the end-user with the fundamental concepts and principles to properly manipulate and deploy a handgun and rifle during low light conditions. This will be a reverse cycle training course starting at 5:30 pm each day! Instruction will be at the range, on the range

- 600 rounds of rifle training ammunition
- 5 rounds of duty rifle ammo

- Range suitable clothing, water
