Course Description:
This two-day {16-hour) program has been designed by Michael W. Kmiecik II
(Sheepdog Guardian Consulting, LLC) for police service dog handlers, police service dog administrators, supervisors, trainers, handlers; and judges, prosecutors and municipal attorneys and is intended as a training, educational and resource tool for current and relevant police service dog industry standards, federal law (statute and case law relating to the Supreme Court of the United States and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit) and Idaho law (statute and case law) relating to police service patrol dog operations. The course does not purport to furnish legal advice or assistance. Furthermore, students will be tested on their knowledge and retention prior to and after instruction.
