- Proper trigger press and ergonomics
- Bullet and rifle design
- Efficiency and stability of bullet types
- Atmospheric effects on the target
The course aims to teach snipers to operate without overdependence on unnecessary equipment. Students will adjust their rifles, optics, and kits for proper fit and prolonged operation. Rifles will be checked for proper setup, including the use of Loctite and torquing to specification. Once deficiencies are corrected, snipers will aim to shoot sub-half MOA groups. If rifles are incapable of shooting half MOA, deficiencies will be noted, and a follow-up report with needed corrections will be sent to the agency.
