In the 700 rifle class, through the use of a bore-scope, power point, and hands-on instruction, we cover all aspects of this classic bolt rifle to ensure the student leaves with a thorough understanding of its function, design, and common malfunctions.

R4 AR-15/M-4 Carbine Armorer’s Course- Blackfoot

Course Description:

Our AR15/M4 Armorer’s School uses detailed disassembly and reassembly to emphasize operation and the actual function of a direct impingement weapon. The class is 90% hands on from start to finish, with consistent emphasis on inspection of parts and the diagnostics associated with wear and failure.

Students attending this class will receive in-depth and hands-on introduction to the 870 shotgun.

Instructional topics will include but not be limited to:

Basic operation and nomenclature
Design and Function of the 870 shotgun
Common field strip leading to a detailed disassembly Cleaning and Maintenance
Troubleshooting malfunctions / diagnostics
Advanced Repairs such as Ejector replacement and Hammer/Spring replacement
Repair documentation for the departmental armorer       


Each student is required to bring only an 870 shotgun to class and any tools they wish to use or bring.

R4 Glock Advanced Armorer- Pocatello

Course Description:

Two day (16 hour) class that goes beyond the basic armorers course and discusses advanced maintenance and service issues for the GLOCK pistol.

Course Objectives:

  • Understand and be able to explain the design features of the Glock Safe Action System
  • Score 90% on the Final Written Examination
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to maintain, troubleshoot and service all Glock pistols by identifying 90% of the problems present in the Final Practical Examination Scenario Pistols

  • Students who are unable to perform Field Stripping and detail disassembly and reassembly will be removed from the Advanced Armorer Course at the Instructor’s discretion

R4 Springfield 1911/XD/XDM Armorer- CANCELLED LACK OF REGISTRATIONS

Course Description:

Team One Network Conducts Springfield Armory Armorer Courses on behalf of Springfield Armory. Our armorer courses are structured to provide each student with a practical understanding of the advanced features that make the Springfield Family of Firearms unique.

The following armorer certifications are available:

Each of these courses are conducted in a single day.  Quite often we’ll conduct multiple courses back-to-back at the same location.  Please double check the schedule.

  • XD/XDm Pistol
  • XDs Pistol
  • 1911 Pistol

These courses provide complete and detailed answers to specific questions concerning the weapons mechanical functioning, operational procedure, field stripping and armorer detailed stripping, inspection(s), troubleshooting, and corrective actions/maintenance.

Outcomes:

  • Conduct proper disassembly and reassembly of the firearms and their sub-assemblies.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and inspection procedures applicable to each firearm type.
  • Diagnose reported field problems relating to each firearm type.
  • Service and repair each firearm type to include the installation of new components.

Valid for: Certifications are valid for 3-years.

Equipment Required: Participants must bring wrap-around eye-protection.  Team One Network and Springfield Armory supply all tools and weapons.

Course Restrictions: Team One Network is authorized by Springfield Armory to conduct armorer courses on their behalf.  These courses are restricted to military, law enforcement, and licensed armed security only.  For exceptions please contact Springfield Armory.
