Description:
The Managing the Inland Search Function Basic course provides participants with information and knowledge about conducting search operations and the overall management of a missing person incident. Course completion enables participants to manage and direct search efforts for missing or lost persons in a more coordinated and efficient manner. The training serves as a state-of-the-art forum of information exchange about conducting search operations in wilderness, rural, or urban environments. Textbook materials, articles, research documents, and the combined experience and knowledge of the instructors along with the course participants all combine to create an “Information Rich Learning Environment.” That environment and methodology of information sharing is one of the leading attributes of the course.
