Description: BVOC Objectives
Upgrade your driving skills and ensure the safety of yourself and others with the BVOC course. Developed at the request of Sheriff’s Offices, this program equips certified detention officers with the essential knowledge and techniques for confident vehicle operation during transports, agency duties, and unexpected situations.
Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, you’ll gain mastery over core skills like pre-trip inspections, proper control methods, and maneuvering techniques. Learn how to navigate challenging situations – night driving, adverse weather, skid control – with informed responses and effective driving strategies. Discover the impact of physics and speed on vehicle handling, and hone your skills in various scenarios like backing, parallel parking, and urban driving. Gain the confidence and competence to handle any environment with the BVOC course.
