Description:
For 40 years, the Verbal Judo Institute has been teaching organizations all over the world how to de-escalate tense encounters verbally. We show our students how to safely and efficiently gain voluntary compliance with poise and professionalism. Our program can defuse verbal conflict thereby decreasing the likelihood of violent encounters.
Mike “Ziggy” Siegfried is a dynamic speaker who focuses on class involvement and adult learning concepts. Mike delivers the tried-and-true concepts of Verbal Judo in an exciting and insightful manner. Mike spent 26 years working as a full-time peace officer prior to becoming the Chief Operating Officer (C.O.O) of the Verbal Judo Institute. He is a court recognized use of force expert. Mike is a published author in Police Magazine, the FBI National Academy Associate Magazine, Police Recruit Magazine, and Campus Security Magazine. He lives in Spirit Lake, Idaho.
