This course is open to all sworn or non-sworn Command Level Supervisors, or above, in any division of Law Enforcement or related public service agency personnel.

Presented through a combination of classroom lecture and practical exercises, this 5-day course will provide students with principles and techniques that will help them become successful supervisors.

Topics will include:

Management Styles, Teamwork, Motivating Employees, Coaching Employees, Problem Employees, Conflict Management, Performance Evaluations, Employee Discipline, Civil Liability, FMLA/ADA Issue

This course has been approved for 40 hours of POST training credit.

(These POST credits also qualify for Management Certificate hours.)
