Description:
Presented through a combination of classroom lecture and practical exercises, this 3-day course will provide students with principles and techniques that will help them become successful Jail Commander/Administrators. Topics will include: Jail leadership, Inmate rights, federal/state statutes, jail operations/contracts, civil/criminal liability, jail medical liability, constitutional law, coaching jail supervisors, use of force inside the jail, and classification programs.
