Description:
This multidisciplinary course examines the covert strategies employed by perpetrators of grooming, coercive control, and sustained abuse. Through in-depth case studies and sessions led by field experts, students will analyze the psychological and social mechanisms that enable long-term victimization. Emphasis is placed on interprofessional collaboration in identifying, investigating, and prosecuting such cases. The course also explores survivor-centered approaches to justice, safety, and healing.
