Speaker Ed Monk has been researching and providing training on the Active Shooter threat for over 18 years. He speaks to law enforcement agencies, schools, universities, churches, and businesses nation-wide. He has been an invited speaker at numerous international and national conferences. Ed is a law enforcement officer, firearms trainer, retired Army officer, former schoolteacher, and author of First 30 Seconds. His formal education includes a BS in US History from West Point, an MS in Education from Kansas State University, and he is a graduate of the US Army’s Command & General Staff College.
