Description:

This 8 hour course is designed for the law enforcement end-user. Speed and accuracy are needed to be successful in an officer involved shooting. Unfortunately, most officers only practice at qualification speed and not gun fighting speed. This is evident by watching police firearms training and comparing their training to officer involved shootings on body cameras. The body camera shooting is twice as fast as range shooting.  Many officers only train at qualification speed and the officers often miss their target.

This is an end-user course open to all sworn law enforcement personnel.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS—
Duty Handgun w/1000 rounds of ammunition
Duty Belt
Three magazines
Ballistic Vest
Ear/Eye Protection
Tactical cargo style pants
Sunscreen
Ball Cap

Pre-requisites for attendance

• Basic LEO certification
• Please note: This course is designed for experienced shooters and is not suitable for beginners. Students should have completed a basic 40-hour POST or equivalent firearms course. Students should also be proficient in safe firearms handing and marksmanship; those without this experience may find the course unsuitable.
