Description:
Magic Valley Alliance for Children (MVVAC) 2026 is a two-day, multi-disciplinary training designed for law enforcement, social workers, juvenile probation, mental health clinicians, prosecutors, child advocacy professionals, and medical providers who support children and families.
Attendance is flexible—participants may register for Day 1 only, Day 2 only, or both days.
Day 1
focuses on practical, current issues impacting youth and casework, including youth internet safety, sextortion and Idaho’s response, victim rights and effective MDT collaboration, and a candid session on recognizing and addressing burnout in high-demand professions.
Day 2
offers an extended, skills-based training on Components for Enhancing Career Experience and Reducing Trauma (C-Cert), building sustainable strategies to reduce the impact of professional trauma exposure while strengthening long-term effectiveness.
