Description:
This course focuses on developing safe, effective, and practical skills for decoy work and K9 training. Key areas of instruction include:
- Safety and proper fit of decoy equipment (suit, sleeve, etc.)
- How to properly catch dogs to ensure decoy and K9 safety
- Selection and working of dogs in multiple target areas
- How to problem solve issues on the spot
- Scenario-based exercises that can be taken back to your training groups
- Working K9s that are on different levels of training
Participants will gain hands-on experience through scenario-based training designed to be applied directly within their own training environments.
