This course provides in-depth instruction on the classic Remington Model 700 bolt-action rifle. Using a combination of bore-scope analysis, PowerPoint presentation, and hands-on learning, students will develop a thorough understanding of the rifle’s design, function, and common malfunctions. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to confidently inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot the platform.

Basic disassembly of the rifle
Detailed disassembly and reassembly of the bolt
Design, function, and cycle of operations
Inspection procedures and troubleshooting techniques
Accuracy diagnostics
Cleaning and maintenance practices
Repair documentation for departmental armorers
Additional Information:
Triton Training Group will provide Remington Model 700 rifle receivers to prevent small parts loss or damage to duty weapons
Students may bring personal tools or rifles, though all required tools and support materials will be provided for use during the class
