Description:

This hands-on K9 Decoy Training Seminar focuses on developing safe, effective, and professional decoy skills while improving patrol K9 performance in real world applications. Participants will learn proper catching and targeting mechanics, suit work and hidden sleeve applications, and techniques for building strong, confident grips while maintaining control and clarity in the dog. The course also covers how to read canine behavior under stress and drive, apply stress exposure through scenario-based training, and prepare K9 teams for realistic deployments. Special emphasis is placed on decoy safety, injury prevention, and techniques that promote longevity for both the decoy and working dog.
