R1 270 Tactical Patrol Officer Response – Post Falls
June 23-25 2026, 9:00am -5:00pm
Credit Hours: 24
Course Number: R1 270
Description:
Tactical Patrol Officer Response (TPOR) prepares patrol officers for the first critical minutes of high-risk and exigent-circumstance incidents, when immediate entry, rapid decision-making, and leadership at the point of contact are required.
This intensive three-day course focuses on exigent-circumstance entries, tactical incident command, ambush mitigation, and threat orientation and management in dynamic, uncontrolled environments. Students participate in case law review, reality-based training drills, and facilitated discussions built from real-world incidents, including the operational, leadership, and personal realities that follow officer-involved shootings, media scrutiny, agency review, and community impact.
TPOR will sharpen your judgment, movement, and leadership under pressure, so that when the call comes, you are not relying on hope, luck, or outdated habits: you are relying on training that was built for exactly the moment you are about to face.
