This training course provides practical instruction in interview and interrogation techniques designed to assess credibility and obtain information during criminal investigations.

Participants will learn to:
• Interpret verbal and non-verbal behaviors to assess credibility of victims, witnesses, and suspects
• Use behavior-provoking questions during interviews
• Apply The Reid Nine Steps of Interrogation® to:
      – Develop effective interrogation strategies
      – Create persuasive themes
      – Formulate alternative questions to elicit initial admissions
      – Manage defiant or resistant subjects
      – Overcome objections, address fears, and move past denials
      – Motivate the subjects to want to tell the truth
