Description:
This one-day (8 hour) course was developed to enhance the beginning level learners’ awareness of social media and how the elements can be used in investigations. Students are guided through discussions on topics such as: being aware of their digital footprint and how to manage their law enforcement attributes while online. The discussion then turns to the culture of social media and the best practices of how to utilize some of the content in investigations. Finally, students will have the opportunity to get hands-on with some of the NDCAC’s most-popular, FREE, downloadable tools.
