R2 127C – Patrol Rifle (end-user) Course – Kuna

Description:

This is a POST provided in-service training for certified officers.  This Urban Rifle Course consists of 24 hours of hands-on, performance based rifle training. Students will learn how to properly manipulate and deploy a rifle within an urban environment. The purpose of this course is to expose the student to the capabilities and limitations of the law enforcement patrol rifle.

Participants will be required to provide the following:

  1. Duty rifle with sling and at least two magazines
  2. Weapon mounted light and/or handheld flashlight
  3. 1000 rounds of rifle training ammunition
  4.  5 rounds of duty rifle ammo
  5. Handgun and complete duty belt
  6. Ear/eye pro
  7. Elbow & knee pads
  8. Ball cap
  9. Range suitable clothing, water

Completion of this course will satisfy the High Liability Firearms Instructor biennial training requirement for endorsement renewal.
