Description:

This course will train the SFST practitioner for certification as an Instructor for Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. This course prepares the trainer in methods of instruction; it does not guarantee instructor certification.

This course is intended to bring SFST practitioners up to instructor level, allowing them to use the Standardized curriculum to provide DUI/SFST training. In addition, attendees who successfully complete this training and complete the POST Instructor Certification requirements may be authorized to certify officers to use the SFSTs for arrest/no arrest decisions.

Pre-Requisite:
– All applicants MUST have completed a full NHTSA SFST Training course.
– All applicants must be a current SFST certified practitioner with a minimum of 3 years LE experience.
