Description:

This four-day (optional five-day) course is designed to provide upcoming leaders, newly promoted officers and seasoned first-line supervisors with the knowledge, skills and abilities to take on their role as a first line supervisor. This course combines classroom lecture, hands-on practical application and group interaction that provides the basis for enhanced understanding of common management theory so attendees can put these theories into practice. Through this interaction, attendees will be able to implement key strategies into their daily activities so they can better serve their team, successfully manage their positions, and effectively assist in the protection of their agency through proper decision-making and judgment in the field.
