Description: Urban Rifle Course – User Training
This is a POST provided in-service training for certified officers. This Urban Rifle Course consists of 24 hours of hands-on, performance based rifle training. Students will learn how to properly manipulate and deploy a rifle within an urban environment. The purpose of this course is to expose the student to the capabilities and limitations of the law enforcement patrol rifle.
Participants will be required to provide the following:
- Duty Rifle w/sling and at least two magazines
- Weapon mounted light and handheld flashlight
- 500 rounds of rifle ammunition
- 5 rounds of rifle duty ammunition
- Handgun and complete duty belt
- 50 rounds of handgun ammunition
- Ear protection
- Eye protection
- Elbow & knee pads
- Ball cap
All registration applications will be vetted by POST for approval to attend this training.

Course Description:
Our AR15/M4 Armorer’s School uses detailed disassembly and reassembly to emphasize operation and the actual function of a direct impingement weapon. The class is 90% hands on from start to finish, with consistent emphasis on inspection of parts and the diagnostics associated with wear and failure.

Repair documentation for the departmental armorer
This AR15/M4 Armorer class is unbranded and relevant to all AR manufacturers. TTG carbines will be utilized for this class to prevent small parts loss or damage from occurring with duty weapons. Students are welcome to bring tools to class, however tools necessary to complete class will be provided for use in class, as well as support materials.
