Description:  Instructor Development Refresher Course – In-service training

The Instructor Development Refresher Course is designed for those looking for continuing education and training to enhance instructional techniques. This course is also a requirement for instructors that have lapsed and wish to return to instructing. This is an 8-hour course that covers the following—

  • POST Policies/Procedures
  • IDAPA Rule
  • POST’s Expectations
  • Adult Learning Principles
  • Effective Instructional Skills
  • Learning Styles
  • Legal & Liability
  • Online Delivery Overview

Pre-requisites for attendance:

  • Completion of a POST vetted Instructor Development Course
