R2 203A Heavy Truck Reconstruction – Meridian

Course Number  : R2 203A

Description:

This course is designed for Advanced Technical Investigators or Collision Reconstructionists.

Upon conclusion of the class, attendee’s will be able to evaluate a heavy vehicle’s ability to stop, reconstruct a heavy vehicle’s axle weight, calculate a dynamic vehicle rollover threshold, interpret extracted data from Heavy Vehicle Event Data Recorders and telematic systems, follow the proper procedures for post-crash inspections, and more. The course will also prep the students for success in courtroom presentations as well.

Pre-requisite for attendance

successfully completion of an approved Advanced Traffic Crash Investigation Course
or equivalent/higher course
