Description: Command Series level 1- Developing First Line Supervisors
The course will focus on the individual areas needed for successful supervision while also teaching skills to function together to be a positive leadership team.
Areas of instruction include, communication, supervisory bias, working with your boss, leadership, management & discipline, problem employees, team development and critical incident management. First-line supervision and mid-level management are critical components and essential elements to high-functioning law enforcement organizations. This programs focus is on moving from management theory to the review of practical application of the knowledge, skill and abilities necessary to be a positive, motivating and inspiring leader.
