SUMMARY:R1 O.O.D.A. Loop Based Officer Survival through Preparation\, Not Paranoia - Hayden
DESCRIPTION:Course Number: R1  139 \n  \nDescription: \nRally Point Training & Consulting’s two day O.O.D.A. Loop based Officer Survival™ training seminar combines vital information from our original O.O.D.A. Loop based Officer Survival™ seminar and along with updated tactics to bring you the most important two days of classroom based officer survival training possible. This course provides updated officer survival information associated with felonious assaults against law enforcement during ambushes\, suspicious person’s investigations\, foot and vehicle pursuits\, conducting traffic stops and during arrest situations (The Big Five) with a focus on understanding and properly utilizing the O.O.D.A. loop for survival. \nDuring the seminar officers are taught how to maximize their O.O.D.A. loops and long-term memory while understanding how they can negatively affect an adversary’s O.O.D.A. loop to gain important physical and mental advantages. \nAt Rally Point Training & Consulting\, we believe that solutions can be found by taking an in-depth look at factors that drive suspects to launch felonious assaults against law enforcement while analyzing tactics used by both officers and suspects to help harden ourselves as targets through proper preparation\, not paranoia. Our O.O.D.A. Loop based Officer Survival™ training seminar start off with a reminder of laws pertaining to the use of force and updated information on Officers Down in the Line of Duty and causes of those deaths. Officers are then introduced to John Boyd’s O.O.D.A. loop and will learn how suspects and officers O.O.D.A. loops can be used for and against them. Officers will discuss how officers and suspects process information\, associated mindsets and indicators of mindsets\, commonly referred to as O.O.D.A. Loop indicators. Officers will learn the ins and outs of the O.O.D.A. loop including how to maximize its speed and proficiency for officer survival while learning how to disrupt an adversary’s O.O.D.A. loop.. \nDates: March 28-29\, 2022 \nTime: 0800-1700 \nCredit Hours: 16 \nLocation: \nOEM Building \n 1662 W.
