R1 My Neighbor Poisoned My Dog Seminar- Hayden
June 23 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Course Number: R1 169
Description: Intentional animal poisonings are unfortunately not an uncommon scenario. Neighbors feud, tempers flare, and decisions are sometimes made that in order to get back at an individual or neighbor is to intentionally harm their animals. However, these types of investigations can be very challenging to determine the toxicologic cause of an animal’s illness or death. And sometimes these investigations reveal that the animal’s illness or death is not toxicology related at all. The objective of the presentation is to review a methodical approach when investigating a suspect toxicology case, and use specific case material as examples of how some cases can be solved by utilizing some of these techniques.
