This is a POST provided in-service training for certified law enforcement officers; this training is designed for the end-user. Shooting in low-light has long been a required and very necessary skill for law enforcement officers. The purpose of this course is to expose the student to a variety of low-light shooting skills for both the handgun and patrol rifle. The Low-Light Firearms Course will consist of 16 hours of hands on performance based training.

Participants will be required to provide the following:
Duty Rifle w/sling, two magazines
Weapon mounted light and handheld flashlight
600 rounds of rifle ammunition
5 rounds of rifle duty ammo
Duty Handgun and complete duty belt
50 rounds of handgun ammunition
5 rounds of handgun duty ammo
Ear/eye protection
Ball cap
Elbow / knee pads
Pre-requisites for attendance
Law Enforcement Officer Certification
All registration applications will be vetted by POST for approval to attend this training.
