Students will learn how to properly manipulate and deploy a rifle within an urban environment. The purpose of this course is to expose the student to the capabilities and limitations of the law enforcement patrol rifle.\nParticipants will be required to provide the following:\n\nDuty rifle with sling and at least two magazines\nWeapon mounted light and/or handheld flashlight\n1000 rounds of rifle training ammunition\n 5 rounds of duty rifle ammo\nHandgun and complete duty belt\nEar/eye pro\nElbow & knee pads\nBall cap\nRange suitable clothing, water\n\nPre-requisites for attendance  – Idaho POST Basic certification\nInstructors:\nCaptain Brent Wright\nLocation:\nTwin Falls Police Department\n321 2nd Ave East\nTwin Falls, Idaho 83301\nCost: $375 (Attendees are responsible for meals, travel, and lodging)\nRegistration Details:\nPlease select the blue registration button to the right.\n\n\nRegistrations fill quickly, and this class is limited to 20 students.\n\n\nRemarks:\nAll Registration requests will be vetted by POST for approval to attend.\nCompletion of this course will satisfy the High Liability Firearms Instructor biennial training requirement for endorsement renewal.\nRegistrations open 90 days before the start date of the course.
